Why a Crisis One wireless public address system

A public address system that doesn't require digging up streets and doesn't go silent during a power outage.

No excavation or cabling

The speakers communicate with the broadcasting station by radio. We don't dig or lay cables, so disruption for residents is minimal.

Mounted on street light poles

Both the CO 300 and the CO 301 have a robust design for permanent mounting on street light poles and long-term outdoor operation.

Works during a blackout

The broadcasting station and the speakers have their own backup power for at least 72 hours, so you can make announcements even during a long power outage.

Clear announcements

High acoustic output and digital modulation ensure intelligibility even in dense built-up areas and acoustically challenging terrain.

Speakers monitor themselves

Thanks to two-way communication, every speaker continuously confirms it is ready to broadcast and reports its service status if a fault occurs.

Announcements, signals and live broadcast

Pre-recorded announcements, alarm signals and instant live broadcast. The system serves both everyday information and public warning.

How the wireless public address system works

From the broadcasting station to the speakers in the streets, without a single cable.

  1. 1

    Broadcasting station

Start announcements from the CO 101 station: live into the microphone, from pre-recorded messages or using scenarios for different types of events.

  2. 2

    Digital radio transmission

Announcements travel straight to the speakers over a digital two-way radio network with high resistance to interference. No cables, no excavation.

  3. 3

    Speakers across the municipality

Speakers on street light poles play the announcement or siren signal. Where more acoustic output is needed, we use the 100 W CO 300.

  4. 4

    Monitoring and service

The system continuously monitors the speakers, alerts you to faults and communication failures and keeps an event history. We provide service 24/7.

Grants and financing

We map Czech and European grant programmes, select a suitable financing option, prepare the application documents and make sure the grant conditions are met. If no grant is available, we offer our own installment plan as the manufacturer.

Frequently asked questions

Does a wireless public address system need excavation work?

No excavation or cable laying is needed. The speakers are wireless and we mount them on street light poles, so disruption for residents is minimal. A typical speaker installation takes a few hours.

Will it work during a power outage?

Yes. The broadcasting station and the speakers have integrated backup power for at least 72 hours. The speakers can also operate on their own if they lose connection with the broadcasting station.

How do we know the speakers are working?

The speakers communicate with the broadcasting station in both directions. Each one continuously confirms its availability and readiness to broadcast and reports its service status if a fault occurs. We provide monitoring and service 24/7.

Can the system be connected to the Czech JSVV?

Crisis One components can be integrated into the Czech Unified Warning and Notification System (JSVV) as required by the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. Connection of an end device to the JSVV is approved by the regional fire rescue service (Section 9(7) of Decree No. 380/2002 Coll.). We discuss the procedure with you when designing the solution.

Which frequencies does the system use?

The system uses digital two-way radio communication in the 66–85 MHz band with QPSK modulation. In the Czech Republic it operates under an individual licence from the Czech Telecommunication Office.

Can the system be extended later?

Yes. The system has a modular architecture, so you can gradually add more speakers, electronic sirens, communication channels and sensors, or connect it to higher-level systems.

Can we get a grant for a new public address system?

We help you find a suitable Czech or European grant programme, prepare the application documents and make sure the grant conditions are met through to the final settlement. If no grant is available, we offer our own installment plan as the manufacturer.

Does a municipality still need a public address system when there are mobile phone alerts?

Public address systems and sirens reach everyone outdoors or at home, including people without a mobile phone. The Crisis One system communicates over its own radio network and, thanks to the 72-hour backup, keeps working even when the usual infrastructure fails.
